I have been going to Medfield Smiles since 1982; but this is the first time I had been a patient of Dr. Rayment. Truthfully after an email exchange with him about a treatment plan and options, there was little anxiety. I was early and taken early. Dr. Rayment explained everything in enough detail that I was put at ease and without so much detail to be overwhelming. He is very sensitive and has a very gentle touch. Since I have to travel a good distance for treatment, I had both a filling and a crown at the same time. The filling was completed before I knew that he started. They manufacture the crown in the office while you wait and I should have taken something to do in those periods. Otherwise, it was the best experience possible considering I was at the dentist.

He is an accomplished dentist and uses the latest advanced equipment and techniques to deliver the best patient experience and care of any dentist I have known. I had two teeth extracted recently and with the exception of the Novocain shot, I felt no pain except some mild pressure. He prepared a helpful treatment plan, with numerous options that addressed both my needs and overall budget. Joanne and Becky are great and both are well versed in dealing with insurance companies, which I found to be a great relief. The rest of the staff are very friendly and a pleasure to work with which makes every visit an enjoyable one. Dr. Rayment continually strives for excellence in his practice; he stays on top of the very latest technical advances and techniques in the dentistry profession. I've had some very good dentists over the past thirty years, but he is hands down, the very best. I highly recommend Medfield Smiles.

My recent visit proved to me that there is no need to be anxious or stressed for my office visits, other than cleanings and check ups. I had a scheduled procedure and was nervous leading up to my appointment. However after arriving I could feel a calm and understanding from the staff that I may be a bit anxious. Dr. Rayment and staff helped me relax and settle into our "work" with some humor and information as to what was going on. It didn't take long for me to realize that there was nothing to nervous about. I know it easier to say than to actually do, but there really is nothing to worry about at Medfield Smiles. They really do have a caring touch.
